Although born into a decidedly non-magical family, Amber fell through the wardrobe at a young age. Driven by a chronic case of lively curiosity, her many widespread interests and passions (including the baffling use of snails in medieval illustrations) have influenced her storytelling.

Winner of the 2024 Eric Hoffer award, Amber has three books currently to her credit, including her debut coming-of-age fantasy, Until the Rising, as well as her urban fantasy duology, Unleashed and Released. Her stories are best known for their richly defined characters, emotional intensity, and courage shining brightly even amidst the darkest moments.
